It is time to make plans for Summer. Please go to the recreation page if you want to look into registering your child for Summer camp. We have have great activities planned for 2017
Camp Moy-Mo-Dä-Yo Now Offers Skills Classes!
This year campers age 6-13 will have the opportunity to participate in skills classes. These classes will cover a number of different camp activities. Campers can choose their favorite activities for the week and stick with those in place of part of our daily schedule.
A More Inclusive Daily Schedule
This year’s weekly schedule will consist of a variety of camp activities with a focus on the weeks theme. Campers will have the ability to try new camp activities every week and learn new skills all summer long. Don’t forget to pre-register for camp at the Limington town hall.
VET CENTER COMMUNITY MEETINGS COMING SOON
Veterans are advised that the Veteran's Administration Vet Center will be holding an open house style community meeting at the Old Town Hall (Cape Road & Sokokis Avenue). The meeting will take place on May 19 between the hours of 10:00 am and 2:30 pm.
These meetings provide veterans with an opportunity to learn what services and resources are available to them from the Vet Center, their community and the State, and to answer any questions they might have regarding their benefits or any other concerns. FMI: 1-877-927-8387.
The Town of Limington is looking for someone to serve on the Planning Board, the Financial Advisory Committee, Old Town Hall Preservation Committee and Limington Youth League. Volunteers are also needed to form a committee for the celebration of Limington's quasquibicentennial this year (225 years). Please call us up and get involved!
The Budget Advisory Committee will meet on Tuesday May 9 Please plan to attend and participate.
Need General Assistance?
The hours for the General Assistance Office are Tuesdays 3:00P.M.- 5:00P.M. An application may be picked up at the Town Clerks office during regular business hours. The application must be filled out and signed before meeting with the GA Administrator. Also be prepared to show proof of income (pay stubs, Social Security/disability, unemployment, etc.) for everyone in the household and receipts of how all income was spent (heating, electricity, rent, food, prescriptions, telephone, cable, internet, pet expenses, alcohol and tobacco expenses, etc.) If you prefer you may download and print the application located here.

Ambulance Insurance Available
Limington residents are advised to take advantage of the subscription agreement made available by the EMS. Although nobody wants to think about a trip to the hospital, an ambulance run can easily run up to $1,000. Even if you have insurance, it might only cover part of the cost. A small cash outlay right now can buy a lot of peace of mind.

This years' coverage runs from april 1st (unless you sign up later than that date), through March 31st 2018, so it is advisable to secure coverage as soon as possible.
